Baguley Athletic's New Home for Football

Through hardship and negotiations, Baguley Athletic proudly announces a secured ground share with Wythenshawe Town, offering fans an enhanced football experience closer to home.

We are delighted to announce the finalisation of our new partnership deal. We extend our sincere gratitude to Chris, Tom, and Wythenshawe Town for making this possible. The Badgers have found a new home where we can create unforgettable moments for our supporters. With Baguley having lacked a stable home since departing Wythenshawe Sports Club three years ago, our nomadic journey has finally concluded. Our initial approach to Wythenshawe Town last year presented challenges that led to a temporary move to Wilmslow Albion. This temporary relocation unfortunately created a disconnect with our community and fans. However, thanks to renewed efforts and shared vision, we are now able to strengthen our local fan culture with this new home. While we remain incredibly grateful to Wilmslow Albion for their temporary home and generous hospitality, it is now time to bring our fans closer to the action and the heart of our club culture.

Last season, productive discussions with Wythenshawe Town Chairman, Chris Eaton, initiated the prospect of relocating to their ground. It quickly became clear that he understood our ambitious development plan and our drive to progress through the leagues. Both clubs shared a vision for the future. Ericstan Park, with its excellent facilities, provides the perfect foothold to showcase our players' talent and ignite our fans' support. The return to Wythenshawe promises to be a catalyst for high-quality football and an exceptional matchday experience for all our passionate fans, new and old.

For our fans, football is the beating heart of their everyday lives. Our chairman Paul told us “We are so excited to watch The Badgers play at Ericstan Park. We can’t wait to welcome our opponents for the new and upcoming season.”
