Faces old and new have joined up with Baguley Athletic for the start of pre season training

Ex Baguley members, Martyn Story, Jake Ashcroft, Matthew Davenport, Danny Holdsworth, Reece White, Glenn Stobo and Scott McGahey all made an appearance with hope of taking their football t the next level.

"I can't believe the amount of players turning up.  I was maybe expecting 15 for the first week.  The problem I'm going to have is finding a final 20-25 who can seriously push for a place in the team.  Looking at the quality that has been here this week, and also other names that have been mentioned, I am really looking forward to the season kick off" Manage Paul Stewart said.

Rumoured players such as Paul Shortall, Carl Wakefield, Gareth and Craig Hughes and Kane Agnew, who all have experience at this level, look set to join up with 'The Bees'.

"Having someone like Paul Shortall playing beside me, even in training gives me the chance to improve to his level.  He is a massive presence in defence"  Ex Baguley captain confirmed

Paul Stewart said "There is still a lot of work to be done, once we get into July and we start fitness training and team based work, I'll have a better understanding of who fits into the final 25 come August.  One thing is for sure, it's going to be a hard decision to make"
